Accredited Exercise Physiologist
An Accredited Exercise Physiologist is an allied health professional who specialises in the development and delivery of exercise programs and protocols to manage, prevent and to help you heal from conditions and injuries. An Accredited Exercise Physiologist is qualified to work with clinical populations (those who have injury or illness) for comparison a Personal Trainer (PT) is only qualified to work with healthy populations (those without injury or illness).
The aims of Exercise Physiology are to prevent injury and help you recover from chronic disease and injury. The body is a truly robust, strong and changeable ecosystem. Hazel works with you to increase your understanding of why you may be feeling less that 100 percent. She facilitates you to move forward in ways that are meaningful and valuable to you. She focuses on evidence-based biopsychosocial protocols including movement, modern pain science understanding and reducing inflammation. She endeavours to help you move forward with more energy, confidence, and less pain.
